As we age, our immune response capability becomes reduced, which in turn contributes to more infections. What is known is that the body is continually generating immune cells. Just like a healthy diet, exercise can contribute to general good health and therefore to a healthy immune system. It may contribute even more directly by promoting good circulation, which allows the cells and substances of the immune system to move through the body freely and do their job efficiently.
Below are 7 simple tips for boosting your immune systems :
- Eat a diet high in fruits and vegetables.
- Exercise regularly.
- Maintain a healthy weight
- If you drink alcohol, drink only in moderation.
- Get adequate sleep.
- Wash your hands frequently and cook meats thoroughly.
- Try to minimize stress.
The entire morning just really inspired me to continue going & not to limit myself when it comes to my creative bounds, to just be free…and happy. Exercise is the space where I feel most free to discover myself and to transgress those societal roles that are expected of me as a man.
