Now more than ever it’s important to maintain a sense of connection and community, and we’re all having to evolve in the ways that we do so. All around the world, the coronavirus pandemic is causing gyms to close. You add that to the fact that 2020 has been such a challenging year for most people.
I think this is a shift for all of us, for the last couple of years I’ve been thinking about switching over to social media, so that I can make a bigger impact. But the challenge for me is that I’m very private, so the idea of letting people into my personal space is so scary. But what we’re going through right now has helped everyone open there minds to try new things.
Many of us already find it hard enough to motivate ourselves to exercise at the best of times. When you’re under the cloud of an emotional disorder and haven’t exercised for a long time, setting extravagant goals like completing a work out for an hour every morning will only leave you more despondent if you fall short. It’s better to set achievable goals and everyday that you accomplish a small goal consider that a win a build momentum from there. My biggest challenge the last couple of weeks has been snacks. Whenever I’m bored I find myself eating some junk. No matter if gyms are closed or not self discipline is my major focus right now.
A question I had to ask myself and that I suggest you ask yourself is.
You have 3 options during this lockdown period:
– become better
– become worse
– stay the same
The choice is yours. You already know what I recommend.
Exercise is one of the fundamentals of keeping a healthy balanced body. A healthy body will produce a strong immune system, which defends the body from foreign, invading organisms, promoting a protective immunity.
I’m committing to being consistent with giving exercise and nutrition tips. I’m in the process of creating a live stream platform, where I can still be able to train with my clients. I will continue to keep everyone in prayer and continue to make my impact in the world!
I would love to read comments on what everyone has been doing to stay busy?
Netflix suggestions? Books? What bad snacks have you been eating?

I love this post! I am in lockdown in Italy, which is very severe. I have been painting, writing, talking to friends. Today I am going to record on youtube a children’s story that I wrote. Exercise is tough, but I stretch every chance I get.

Good vibes and keeping my mental health positive have been the most important things during this lockdown. I have found myself eating less but not sure if this is because of stress or I am generally not hungry. I was addicted to Cheetos but now a 24 hr lockdown is in place I will not be buying anymore. If you haven’t watched Money Heist, I suggest that. My goal is to learn some French so we will see where that goes…
